My goal as a designer is to change peoples perception’s of fashion, of what it is & what it could be. Whether that’s reinventing something that has already existed, or creating more purposeful designs. With fashion and design the possibilities of what we can do and create are limitless.
Although i love & embrace the advanced world we live in today I think it’s very special that we are able to hold on to the past through music and fashion. Which is why my design aesthetic is heavily inspired by the creative & free-spirited ideas, fashions, and music from the 60’s to the 90’s, all while still being relevant to the culture we live in today.
education & experience
After receiving my Associates of Arts Degree in Product Development at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, I gained a broad insight of the fashion industry. Learning what it means to bring an idea to life, and all of the technical aspects that are key factors to this process. Continuing my education at FIDM focusing primarily on Design, I graduated with my Bachelors of Arts degree in Design, in the winter of 2018.
With my B.A. in Design & A.A. in Product Development, as well as the hands on industry experience I have acquired over the past few years. I have learned how to express my creativity and knowledge in the fashion industry to help bring clients designs to life.
